Wood pieces are being collected from different parts of Iran such as Bandar Abbas, Minab, Qeshm, Jask and Chabahar in the South, Hyrcanian Forests of North and North West of the country and also from Birjand, Ferdows, Nayband, Kerman in the East as well as Saqez, Marivan and Avramanat in the West.
Mashhad was chosen by the International Organization for International Development of ISISCO as the cultural capital of the Muslim world in 2017 due to its cultural and tourism characteristics. At the opening ceremony of this important event, which was attended by ministers of culture and representatives from 52 Islamic countries, art experts sought an artistic and artistic show to illustrate the cultural and artistic features of Iran as much as possible. The effect of the "Sahar Wood" mosaic was unveiled without a doubt and proudly as the elected representative of the culture and art of this land at the ceremony attended by the Presidency of the IISO Organization. .
